The rope sinks in the sea and has a specific gravity approximately equal to Nylon. Specific gravity 1.15 These properties make the rope particularly suitable where the rope should sink and not get on the propeller, and is smart to combine with Danline which floats closest to the bottom. Frøymix is used in end rope/line rope, tenon rope, fishing line and is good for tying where bending is needed.
