The Black Hole Cape Cod Special 54B 250g is a dedicated jigging rod developed for modern offshore fishing targeting powerful species. Built on a high-carbon blank featuring Black Hole’s Nano Carbon construction and WXW carbon reinforcement, it offers a lightweight and responsive feel while maintaining impressive lifting power.
Its deep parabolic action distributes pressure evenly throughout the blank during the fight, helping anglers maintain control and reducing fatigue when battling larger fish. Designed for jigs around 250 grams and PE3–PE6 line classes, the 54B is well suited for Nordic saltwater fishing for species such as halibut, cod, coalfish and pollack.
The Cape Cod Special series is recognized among serious saltwater anglers for combining strength, durability and a lightweight design. The 54B is fitted with Fuji SiC guides, a Fuji reel seat, EVA grips and an aluminium gimbal, making it a reliable choice for use with powerful conventional reels.
