Black Hole Cape Cod Special 54B - 250g (Multi)

  The Black Hole Cape Cod Special 54B 250g is a specialized jigging rod developed for modern offshore fishing targeting powerful species. The rod is built on a high-carbon blank and features Black Hole’s Nano Carbon construction with WXW carbon reinforcement, resulting in a lightweight and highly responsive rod with impressive lifting power. These rods have a long history of landing exceptionally large fish on light-rated tackle, including a 120 kg halibut on the 150 g model and a 1,000 lb bluefin tuna on the 450 g model. Based on our own experience, they are virtually impossible to break and can withstand enormous loads. The parabolic action distributes pressure evenly throughout the entire rod during a fight with large fish. This provides excellent control when vertical jigging and reduces strain on the angler when handling heavy fish. The model is designed for jigs around 250 grams and line classes in the PE3–PE6 range, making it highly suitable for Nordic saltwater fishing for species such as halibut, cod, coalfish (saithe), and large pollack. The Cape Cod Special series is well known among dedicated offshore anglers for combining relatively low weight with exceptional strength and a deep, progressive fighting curve.
