The extensive BG range covers a wide variety of sizes while delivering the same impressive combination of design, strength, and technology throughout the lineup. From the 2500 size for light inshore fishing all the way up to the 8000 size for deep-water fishing and large lures, the BG series is built to perform under demanding conditions. Constructed around a rigid aluminium body, the Digigear II drive system remains firmly supported under heavy load, maintaining smooth power transfer and a refined winding feel. This is further enhanced by 6+1 ball bearings and the lightweight graphite Air Rotor construction. During the fight, the ATD drag system with carbon drag washers delivers smooth and consistent pressure. From size 4500 and larger, the anti-reverse system has been removed to provide even greater mechanical strength and allow for larger drive gears.
