The Lowrance Eagle is the perfect tool for hobby fishermen who want an easy-to-use and reliable instrument for navigation and fishing. Here you get a powerful all-in-one solution with good sonar functions, combined with user-friendly navigation options. The Eagle has a good IPS screen with high brightness, which is easy to read even in bright sunlight and from sharp angles. It is also readable even if you are wearing polarized sunglasses. Operation is simple with intuitive buttons to the right of the screen.
In addition to being a great fishing tool, the Lowrance Eagle is a great navigational instrument. It has built-in GPS and is compatible with C-Map Discover and Navionics chartplotters. The units come with a worldwide basemap, but should be upgraded with detailed chartplotters.
Compared to its predecessor Hook Reveal, Eagle is significantly more compact. You get the same screen size, in a smaller and much nicer exterior. In addition, you get a better screen. Eagle is also adapted to the new SplitShot/TripleShot HD transducers.

Transducer options:
- 83/200 kHz HDI:
- The 83/200 kHz HDI transducer is a good option for inland and coastal fishing in relatively shallow water (down to 3-400 meters). The HDI transducer provides both medium/high CHIRP and DownScan Imaging.
- 50/200 kHz HDI:
- The 50/200 kHz HDI transducer is a very good transducer for fishing along the Norwegian coast. It is recommended for depths down to 600 meters. The HDI transducer provides both low/high CHIRP and DownScan Imaging.
- 200/455/800 kHz SplitShot/TripleShot HD:
- The new SplitShot HD and TripleShot HD transducers are transducers that are optimal for depths down to 150 meters. SplitShot HD combines high CHIRP with DownScan Imaging. TripleShot HD also offers SideScan Imaging. These new HD transducers provide more accurate readings and better images compared to previous versions.
