Biodegradable Escape Cord for Traps – 3 mm × 5 m

Out of stock
When fishing rods and other fishing gear are lost at sea, they often do not stop fishing immediately. Solid metal rods and net/rope products are usually almost eternal. If you already have rods equipped with rotting wire, you will need this in the long term to ensure your catch. Simply put, a wire that will rot. If you have not equipped your rods with rotting wire, we recommend that you do so. How does netting work? A net that is lost in the sea should preferably not continue to catch fish and shellfish. If you have our solid lobster/crab netting, you can make an environmental effort by attaching a "knitting hook" to the netting itself with the netting. Another alternative is to make an opening in the net itself of 20-40cm, which you tighten with netting. Make sure to check the netting at regular intervals, so that the tools work properly when you use them. Rotting thread lying in the sea will normally disintegrate after 6-7 weeks. On gear that is actively used, the rotting thread can last a long time, as the decay stops when the thread dries. Can also be used on nets and other fishing gear.
