Vanford’s sensitivity is partly due to the second-generation Magnumlite rotor, which, together with the body, is constructed from Shimano’s exclusive Ci4+ composite material. Internally, HAGANE Gear, MicroModule II, X-SHIP, InfinityDrive, InfinityXross, and Silent Drive work seamlessly together to provide outstanding smoothness and surprising power. Vanford is also equipped with Shimano’s advanced Duracross drag system, delivering precise control when fighting hard-hitting fish. Anti-Twist Fin helps manage line tension across the roller and spool, especially when fishing with ultra-light lures.
