Oval zinc anode for mounting on the boat hull. The anode helps protect the hull and other metal parts underwater against galvanic corrosion by corroding the zinc instead of the protected parts.
The anode has pre-drilled, oblong mounting holes that provide an adjustable screw spacing of 110–145 mm. Check the anode regularly and replace it when a significant amount of the zinc has corroded away.
